This is a department of therapeutic, pedagogic and assisting support to disabled people, who do not have the ability  to fulfil tasks in a productive way.

They are provided with the possibility of taking part in a set of activities, both useful and recreational ,that try to keep them active and interested.

In this department, we provide  for 74 beneficiaries , in two groups : the Centre of Useful (meaning that these activities have some  practical utility )Activities and the Centre of Strictly Occupational Activities.

On 2005, we opened a new department of the Centre of Occupational Activities, at the housing estate of PER – Bensaúde, shops 12 and 13.

Areas of Activity:

• Pedagogic Cookery

• Handicraft: Painting, Tapestry (Arraiolos), Tricot

As complement, they enjoy specialized support in the areas of Social Service, Psychology, Physical Exercise, Gymnastics/Sports, Swimming, Hippotherapy, Adapted Rowing, Physiotherapy, Musical Activities, Personal and Social Development, Stimulation and Relaxation (Snoozelen)
